Running Crazy...

Well, since I wrote my first blog on Monday everyone has asked "When are you going to blog again?". This my friends, is not an easy task unless it was going to happen sometime in the wee hours of the morning - which just wouldn't be a good idea. You all would be wondering what kind of drugs I am on so I will just try to refrain from that, although it may happen. A quick run down of the week...
Monday: Baseball practice was rained out (thank goodness). Thought it was going to be a nice quiet night at home with the family. Yea right, it never is. About 7:30, after I thought Aiden's homework was completed, I pulled out his agenda from the day only to find out he has a project due the next day on his favorite book character. I ask Aiden about it and of course his reply is, "Oh yea, I forgot." And then he comes up with this brilliant project he wants to do, that would require an engineer and an architect, from The Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. The only problem is I don't have ANY materials we could possibly begin to use. So off to Wal-Mart I go (and I DO NOT like going to Wal-Mart). From there I proceed to try to put together what this little precious child of mine wanted. By midnight is was quite the little masterpiece. I'm so glad the teacher gave ME homework.
Tuesday: (woke up and couldn't believe it was only Tuesday) Pretty typical day - up late, scrambling like crazy to get the boys dressed, fed, school stuff together, teeth brushed and out the door in time. We have become experts at being out the door in about 30 min. If it was an Olympic event, we would win! And yes, it is typical. And then we scrambled that afternoon to have boys picked up, changed for baseball and at the fields by 5:30 - again, from the outside looking in, we look like a bunch of unorganized psychopaths, but really it is a thought-out plan that most of the time goes off without a hitch. Home by 8. Fed, homework, baths, bedtime prayers and the boys in bed by 9:30. Thank goodness for DVR, Chad and I then sat down and watched American Idol (after I told Connor I would not watch it without him - whoops).
Wednesday: Our crazy typical morning, off to school and work. Meet Chad and the boys at church for church supper. Then our Wednesday night church meetings and activities. Home by 8. Bath, bed...blah, blah, blah you know the rest.
So on this Thursday night, I am home in a quiet house. Yep, Chad is at the ballpark with the boys. I worked late. Chad doesn't know it yet, but I am not cooking. He will call and ask what's for supper and will gladly let him pick out one of the finer fast food establishments on his way home to get supper. Yes, with Chad it's supper. Dinner is lunch. Took me a while to figure out what in world he was talking about it. He'd ask for dinner when we first got married and so I assumed he didn't want to eat until that evening...but after 8 years of marriage, I gave up the battle and supper it is!
I really should be taking advantage of being home and doing some cleaning, laundry, or how about cooking for my family. I'm just not motivated, so I am blogging. Chad will be thrilled. :)
I am very much looking forward to my weekend. Even though it will be filled with baseball and the laundry, cleaning, and cooking that I should be doing right now.

I will not always just give you a run down of my week, because you will just be exhausted from reading it! I just thought you should know why you won't see daily blogs. Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!
